2014 Dry Creek Valley “Black Rose” Rosé of Petite Sirah

Gently dry fermenting the “free run” juice of the Shippey estate Petite Sirah produces this very dark rosé with flavors of tart cherries and cranberry. It’s inherent crispness and acidity make it a perfect accompaniment to shellfish, creamy pasta dishes and soft cheeses like brie.

2012 Dry Creek Valley“Rocking Z” Zinfandel 

The vines of both the Shippey “Rocking Z” and “Flaming J” vineyards are grafted to the St Peters Church, heritage clone. This Zinfandel displays deep rich color, forward aromas and flavors of berries and spice with notes of carmelly oak from ageing almost 3 years in French oak.

2012 Dry Creek Valley “Flaming J” Petite Sirah

A dark, brooding, inky wine with blueberry and huckleberry flavors, very soft tannins for such an immense wine and stellar aging potential. This is a wine you can drink now or hold in your cellar for many years.
